What exactly do I get back?

A ZIP with a README that says what each file is for, and three files that are all the same listing. The Markdown file is the one to paste from: title, a one-line hook, the description, five bullet points, an SEO title and meta description with their character counts, tags, product type, and alt text for each photo you uploaded. The PDF is the same thing typeset, with each photo you uploaded shown beside the alt text written for it - the one to read on a phone, print, or send to whoever signs off on the copy. The CSV is that listing laid out as columns: one row, one column per field on a generic or Etsy listing, or Shopify’s own column names if you picked Shopify - the README explains what your store will do with it.

Do I have to fill in the questions?

No - photos alone are enough, and that is the fastest way to use it. The model reads the category, colour, apparent material and styling straight off the pictures. The questions are there for what a photograph cannot show: what the product is actually called, who it is for, the tone you write in, and anything you do not want mentioned. Your brand, tone, audience and exclusions are remembered in your browser for the next product.

What does picking a store front change?

Both the writing and the files. Shopify gets the description as HTML, because that is what a Shopify product page renders, and a CSV with Shopify’s own column names and a handle - shaped as an update, so it edits a product that already exists rather than creating one. Etsy gets plain text, a 140-character title and thirteen tags of twenty characters, which are Etsy’s own limits; its CSV is for copying from rather than importing, because Etsy has no CSV import of its own. Generic is for a listing whose destination you have not decided yet: plain text, every field in its own column. The README in the ZIP explains what your store will do with the CSV either way.

Can it write in a language other than English?

Yes - 11 of them, chosen before you start. Everything in every file is written in that language. The CSV carries a byte-order mark so accented and non-Latin text opens correctly in Excel rather than as mojibake.

Will it make things up?

Accepted Answer

It is asked not to, and specifically told to leave out exact measurements, fabric composition, weight, capacity, battery life, certifications, warranty terms and country of origin unless you supplied them - those are the details a model will invent confidently from a photograph, and none of them are checkable by us. Everything else is written from what is visible plus what you told us. Read it before you publish: it is a first draft that saves you the blank page, not a fact-checked spec sheet.

Why does it say some fields were shortened?

Because each platform caps some of them, and we enforce those caps rather than trusting the model to have obeyed. Anything that had to be trimmed is listed under "Adjustments made" at the end of the Markdown file, with the original length and the limit. Nothing is changed silently.

Question 7

How many photos should I upload?

Accepted Answer

Three to 5 of the same product, from different angles, gives the best result - one clear shot is enough to work from. They all go into one description, so the price is the same whether you upload one or 5. The first photo is the main one; use the star button to promote a different one. Do not mix products in a single job.

Question 8

What happens if it fails?

Accepted Answer

You are not charged. Credits are reserved when the job starts and only taken when a description is actually delivered, so a model that fails or returns something unusable returns the reservation to your balance in full.

Question 9

What happens to my photos?

Accepted Answer

Your uploads and the finished ZIP are stored only as long as the job needs them. The files are deleted four hours after you download them, or within two days if you do not.
